Acadia Toyota Sales
Another Moncton native, Steve has been in the car business all his adult life, roughly 30 years.
He started in sales, and has worked as a leasing manager (3 yrs), new car manager (1yr) general sales manager (2 yrs) and general manager (over 20 years).
He's been general sales manager at Acadia for over 6 years now.
Steve's a sports nut, and when he was younger played baseball, volleyball and basketball (really) Now he's content to play golf. He names Brudenelle in PEI as his favourite maritime course.
Steve loves the diversity of the car business - no two days are alike. But he wishes he had more vacation time. Having said that, he'd choose the same career if he had to do it all over again.
Don was born and raised in Montreal, but has lived in NB for over 35 years.
He started in the car business in 1980 in sales. From there he worked as a business manager, then a branch manager, and now is the fleet/leasing manager at Acadia Toyota.
Don is married and has 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren that he enjoys babysitting.
It's a good thing Acadia Toyota isn't open Sundays, because Don devotes that time to NASCAR racing!

I have worked at the dealership since graduating and have held many different positions, from washing cars to finance manager to most recently used car manager. I enjoy working with the sales staff as well as meeting new clients every day.
I enjoy basketball and golf. In high school I was a member of the provincial basketball championship team. No championships in golf though, mainly frustration and lost balls.

Hi...My name is Marc Leblanc - I was born and raised in Irishtown, NB.
I graduated in 2003 from Mathieu-Martin and from the NBCC SJ in 2007. I have done only limited travel so far but would like to do more. I've been west to Winnipeg and south to Florida. I am a certified car nut and really enjoy the guitar, which I have played in front of very large audiences and am considered an accomplished player. I also teach the guitar.
While at NBCC SJ I was the 2006 CO-OP student of the year. I am also proud of having the highest overall average in Automotive Marketing and Business studies for the period 2005-2007.
Ever since I was a child I would try my hand at selling something; it seems to run in the family. I enjoy that every day is different and the best part is meeting nice people and selling a high quality product. I wouldn't want to work anywhere else but here at Acadia Toyota; such a well respected name in the automotive business.
Customer's comments about Marc:
"I had an overall great experience at Toyota. The staff was amazing at making sure I was completely satisfied with my product. The sales associate I had (Marc) was very good at explaining to me the difference between a purchase and a lease, and helped me in making an important decision that now helps me save money. Not once did I feel pressured to make a decision or to decide if I really wanted to own/lease a Toyota. Thank you for making my first purchase a wonderful positive experience. I will most definitely recommend Toyota to people I know." - Buyer of a 2009 Toyota Corolla, January '09.
"Acadia Toyota - the best Toyota dealership in Atlantic Canada by far." Buyer of a 2010 Tacoma
"Our sales guy Marc was awesome! ... He was very efficient, professional and eager to please us. He did not give the indication of a typical "car salesman" that other reps did ... & was genuine and honest. All of these attributes made us trust him and buy from Toyota. We were shopping for 5 months with cash in hand to buy a vehicle, but value good customer service before we make a purchase. Marc displayed this well and we will be lifetime Toyota clients from here." Buyer of a 2010 RAV4
Hi, my name is Patrick Beaudry. I was born and raised in Dalhousie, NB. I love working with people and enjoy the challenge of selling. Selling is not just a job but also a skill that needs a lot of practice and self-motivation. Boxing was one of my passions and I went to the Nationals in 1997 and to the 1999 Canada Games held in Newfoundland. I am now "retired" from that sport.
We have a big facility here with talented people working together to serve our customers the best way possible.

"Being a woman I felt anxious going to a dealership. I expected to be ignored or not being treated as well as if I were a male. At one dealership I felt pressured to act quickly. At another I felt as if the salesman didn't care. But at Toyota I was treated with a lot of respect. I never felt pressured. The salesman Patrick Beaudry was outstanding. I will recommend him to all my friends and family." Buyer of a 2008 Toyota Yaris.
"The staff at the dealership made this purchase very easy and stress free. There was no pressure, they went out of their way to explain details and rebates. Explanations were clear, there was no pressure to up sell or add features...I will most certainly be purchasing another vehicle from this group." Buyer of a 2010 Corolla
"We have been sold on the Corolla for some time and also the Toyota Brand. The buying experience and dealing with Pat Beaudry made the process that much better ... a bonus. That's something we haven't seen in a while when purchasing a new vehicle. Hats off to Toyota and expecially Pat and Mario at Acadia Toyota. We love the new Corolla" Buyer of a 2010 Corolla

We also would like to mention Steve Glidden the General (Sales) Manager who went beyond the call of duty to ensure that we were pleased with our decision and product. Steve also greeted us and treated us like we were family. These two people got it right and certainly are investments to Toyota Canada. This is the reason why my husband and I will probably come back to Toyota time and time again." Buyer of a 2009 Venza.

Acadia Toyota Administration
Hello! My name is Roger Gallant. I am the Comptroller at Acadia Toyota. I was born and raised in Abram's Village in PEI. I went to UPEI for one year of engineering and then to U de M for a year studying accounting/administration. While at U de M I was invited to join the accounting firm of Losier Doiron Larocque where I stayed for 15 years. I left there to take on a special project at a peat moss firm in Lamque NB and when that was completed I joined an automotive dealership in Tracadie. I was controller for two years and general manager for 3 years. I left when the owner decided to "unretire". I accepted an offer of comptroller at Acadia Toyota, a larger dealership and located in Moncton where we really wanted to be.I am married and we have two grown children, a son and a daughter. I enjoy my work and like to see that things are done accurately and in a timely manner. I am happy with my career choices but I would have liked to travel more when I was younger. While living in Tracadie, I was a member of the Richelieu Club where I was honoured to "spearhead" a colossal project to build a youth camp. Over the five-year life of the project I supervised all aspects, including fundraising. At the grand opening I was pleased to have a building dedicated in my name.
Hello, my name is Jessie Vienneau. I spent my first 10 years in Cocagne NB before moving to Bradford, Ontario. I graduated high school with honours and decided in 2001 to return to my home province where I would pursue my dream of becoming a crime scene investigator. I took 4 years of criminalistics and forensic science. To stay in this field I would have had to leave New Brunswick.
I have worked numerous jobs before coming to Acadia Toyota; from bartending, to managing, to financing. I am happy with my choice to come to Acadia as I have the best job anyone could ever ask for. Not only do I get to work with great people, but I get to assist customers with their shopping experience and even get to drive and take pictures of all of our great vehicles.

Dan's parents are local folks, but moved to the states to work, so Dan happened to be born in Massachusetts. They moved back to Canada in 1973, so he has dual citizenship. After high school, Dan went to St. Thomas University in Fredericton and started an Arts program. He left just short of getting his degree and started working. In 1987 he moved back to Moncton and managed Pizza Hut for 2-3 years. After that he managed several retail establishments at Champlain Place, and then managed a Shell station/convenience store for 2 years. He started at Acadia Toyota in 1992 in sales, then became our customer relations manager, then a service advisor with training also in the parts department before becoming a business manager roughly 7 years ago. For Dan the best part of his job is meeting people. If Dan were starting over again he would be a teacher. It is something he always wished he could do but feels it?is too late and too expensive to get into it now. In his free time, Dan enjoys making wine and entertaining around his pool. He loves traveling and looks forward to his next trip to Hawaii. He also LOVES his pet dog Barney a shepherd/husky/collie mix.
Derek was born in Moncton and went to Acadia University in Wolfville NS. He took Science and majored in PhysEd but did not finish his degree.
He then spent two years at Blue Cross doing payroll before accepting a position with the Dept of Supply & Services in Ottawa. Neither the job nor Ottawa agreed with him, so he found a job with Kuehne & Nagle, a distribution and logistics (warehousing) firm and worked for them in Moncton, Toronto and Edmonton. At 23, he was there youngest ever manager! After 4 ½ years he accepted an offer from Irving who relocated him back to Moncton where he worked with the Midland branch. He stayed with them for 13 years and worked his way up the ladder to senior management.
He enjoyed it, but eventually left and started working at home for Rogers Wireless focusing on corporate accounts and doing international freight forwarding. He worked the Francophone Summit handling the RCMP communications, even though he does not speak any French! He has now been at Acadia Toyota as our senior Business Manager for 6 ½ years. (pointed out that Acadia Toyota has won national awards for the business office for 5 consecutive years). For Derek, the best part of the job is meeting people on a one-on-one basis. He likes people. Derek is married and has a 5 year old son, Brandon. After maintaining a party-animal reputation for many years, Derek now says he has turned into a real homebody. In ten years, Derek will probably still be working .He likes to stay busy. He is hoping his son will get into sports. Did you know: Derek has roughly 1200 albums and 1000 CD?s. (he kinda likes music). He played football for 22 years. Used to DJ at parties. And once had a perfect hand in crib.
